Four young men and three women spend the summer in an abandoned house on a secluded beach. They have no money but are determined to spend there the whole summer. They hunt sea animals, swim, dive and have fun. Their world is one full of humor and naive irony, escaping from rudeness and greyness of everyday life. One of the friends, although being the most devoted friend one can ever have, cannot swim, he is not interested in women and sometimes falls into strange emotional states. Ten years later he has long passed away having committed suicide during that same summer. All three who remain alive painfully remember their friend and for some his death has left deep emotional scars.
