TNB's "No Man's Land" as part of the National Theatre Festival in Bucharest

The 27-th edition of the Romanian National Theatre Festival will be held between 20-th and 30-th October. The festival is held annually in Bucharest and welcomes on its stages some of the finest examples from Romanian and world theatre. It is a shared project of the Romanian Association of Theatre Artists (UNITER), the Cultural Center of Bucharest (ARCUB) and the I. L. Caragiale National Theatre of Romania, and is organised with the financial support of the Romanian Ministry of Culture and National Identity and the Bucharest City Hall.

This year NTF will host a rich programme of conferences, workshops, exhibitions, laboratories, contemporary dance and drama theatre productions, and film screenings. The international guests and performances will be from France, Russia, Japan, Canada, South Korea. The audience will have the chance to attend meetings with artists such as Robert Lepage, Evgeny Mironov, Georges Banu, Ioan Holender, Marin Sorescu, etc. The National Conference of Cultural Managers will have its 4-th edition within the time frame of the festival.

Four of I. L. Caragiale Theatre's premiere productions from the past season will be performed within the programme of the National Theatre Festival with Alexander Morfov's "No Man's Land" being presented on 26-th October.

FNT is certainly among the most recognisable theatre events in Eastern Europe. Its artistic director is the theater critic Marina Constantinescu.
